The Show Can't Go On

We are the instruments used to bring God's love to this earth. We are merely flutes, clarinets, trumpets, and french horns. The Holy Spirit is the Musician, breathing into us LOVE, JOY, PEACE, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, GOODNESS, FAITHFULNESS, GENTLENESS, and SELF CONTROL (Galatians 5:22-23). These qualities and traits are "Fruits of the Spirit" or character traits of the Holy Spirit which we were given through the death and resurrection of Christ.

When all of us are individually being breathed into by the Holy Spirit we create a beautiful sound because of the Holy Spirit... we alone sound lovely, because of the musician. When we come together with others who are also being breathed into by the Holy Spirit and letting out the lovely sound of the Holy Spirit's "fruit" we sound even greater... a duet, a quartet... just as lovely, just a little louder, a little more noticeable.

When we ALL come together, being played perfectly by the Holy Spirit and being breathed into with the characteristics of Christ we form an Orchestra. We all have different noises that intertwine and sound beautiful together... you can't have an orchestra without all the different instruments. We are one Orchestra, many instruments. One body, many parts. If we are all being played correctly and are in-tune. The conductor of the Orchestra is God, who is using His Holy Spirit to make us beautiful and lovely. We are all playing together, sounding great, and sounding LOUD. People are drawn to our sound because it is beautiful... because of the Musician and Conductor... not the instrument. We must remember that we are merely instruments, being used for God's glory. Our sound, our life, our voice, our words, our prayers, our lifestyle, our service, everything we do should point to the Conductor... we wouldn't be able to carry on the show without Him.

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.
Worship the Lord with gladness;
come before Him with joyful songs.

Know that the Lord is God,
It is He who made us, and we are His;
we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.

Enter His gates with thanksgiving
and His courts with praise;
give thanks to Him and praise His name.

Let's make this generation a loud Orchestration of God's love. Let's make His name known and praised. By living out the Fruit of the Spirit we can draw people in and how them how crazy, insane, awesome God's love is! We weren't called to be quiet, we are called to be bold, and loud! Singing for God, praising God, SHOUTING for God. Let all the earth know, Jesus saves... He is enthroned forever and His love NEVER FAILS. He is the only one worth living for!
